Pad works by connecting to a computer running PadD, the server included with Pad. The server allows the user to bind custom keystrokes to images or a set of predefined gestures and send them to the iPhone/iPod Touch. This allows for easy access to any keyboard shortcut you might have in any application on your Mac. You can also send text strings from the device - into the address bar of your web-browser, chat client, Spotlight - you name it! With shortcut buttons in Text View such as copy, paste, undo, enter, backspace and tab you get a quick and efficient way to edit almost any type of text.
